Why website doesn't show up on Google?

For any website to appear in Google search, that website has to be submitted to Google Search Console. Indexing reads pages or blog posts to be included in the index of search engines.

Indexing and crawling is a slow process. How often does Google indexing or crawling that depends on your website. If your website or blog is new, then the process of indexing and crawling is completed within three to four days.

After this, you can look it up on Google to be sure whether your page or post has been indexed in Google search or not. You have to type the URL of your post in Google search or you can also see by pasting the page URL. For example - https://www.example.com/page url.html.

If you want to search and see how many posts of your website are showing on Google or you can also check how many images given in the post are showing on Google.

 For this you have to search - site:example.com/ or site:url of website/.

This is about your SEO settings, specifically robots.txt and meta tag settings. These settings are important to rank on Google for your website.

First of all, log in to your website with a Google account, click on settings and scroll down, click on custom robots.txt and turn it on. 

Then, paste the sitemap to generate code. the above-given code is generated by sitemap XML. you need to generate sitemap XML code from the sitemap generator.

  • Open Sitemap Generator in Google chrome
  • Paste your website URL
  • Click on Sitemap to generate
  • Copy the code from the User to last
  • Back to the blog settings in custom ribots.txt
  • Paste the code that you copied

How to do the Meta tag settings?

  • Click on home page tag - turn on all, noodp

How to request for Indexing?

After these settings, when you publish a post, submit it to Search Console URL Inspection and request for indexing. And do the live test so that you will know whether there is any error in this page or not.

  • Log in to Google Search Console with Google Account
  • select property
  • Click on URL Inspection
  • paste the url of the page
  • click enter
  • If index is not available then click on Indexing Request
  • If your message shows that you are not on Google, then click on Live URL Test.
